The coolest robots in the world! DAFT PUNK

I have always been a huge fan of Daft Punk. I really enjoy their latest album as well. So happy I found the time to crank out an illustration of my favorite robots. I am now think about making them as stickers or at least just the helmets are stickers! Hope you enjoy!

G I Joe Tribute Art Show

I had a blast being a part of the G I Joe Tribute Art Show. The show took place on March 23rd, 2013 at Bait in Diamond Bar. I submitted a two piece set of illustrations. My original illustrations were printed on wood and I also had separate high quality paper prints for sale as well. Check out the recap video from the show and my artwork! Sketch Fun

I realize I have a lot of sketches that I do not really show anyone. I usually post a lot of finalized work on my blog so I've decided to start sharing more sketches. Here are some sketches that I have had fun with.

Art Shows of 2012

At the end of last year I was lucky enough to be a part of some really awesome art shows. I met some very talented artists that really inspire me to do what I do. The first show was the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter Championships. I had a blast meeting people and hanging out with the other artists that were involved with the show. I got a chance to do some sketching while I was there. Also I have attached a pic of the other artists I spent the day hanging out with. KWESTONE, Jerome Lu, and Nate Mitchell from Squid Kids Ink. All of their work can be found under the artists listed on my blog.

It was nice to see my old friend Tommy Santos as well. Thanks for coming out to support brotha.

The last art show I was apart of for 2012 was the Bait "Art Assassins" art show at Frank and Son's Collectible Show. I had a lot of fun there as well. I got a chance to hang out with the very talented Tony Bui aka Genuine HAHA. We shared some artwork with eachother. I did a quick sketch of him and he gave me one of his Moonwalker prints! Street Fighter Round One - Beat Down

Here is a piece I did for the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter Championship Tournament/Art Show. I am so excited and thankful for being able to be a part of this show. A Nightmare On Fulton Street

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to the art show! I had a blast and was happy to see friends, family, and new friends. Here are some of the pieces that I featured from the art show. I will have pictures and video of the show coming soon!

Nacho! One of my all time favorite movies inspired me to create this. I think Nacho Libre has a good variety of different looks throughout the movie. I had fun recreating all of his costumes. Next I plan on giving all the other movie characters a shot with my design style.

Thriller Night. Michael Jackson is one of the biggest influences in my life when it comes to dance and art. I was always scared as a little kid of the Thriller music video. I now found the courage to recreate one of my all time favorites! The werewolf transformation.

Z Carvings. Growing up I watched and learned a lot about Zorro since my dad was always a big fan. I revisited this older piece to add some lighting and a better background. Zorro will always be one of my favorite heroes.

The Monster Squad. Nothing gets me in the Halloween spirit more than the original Universal monsters. I wanted to draw my own chibi style take on them. I felt the need to leave them a bit sketchy and unfinished looking. I like the rawness and fresh way they turned out.

MJ Monstar. One of my good friends, David Jite, gave me the idea to draw what Michael Jordan would look like if one of the aliens from the Space Jam movie stole his powers. Michael seemed to have handled all the aliens with the Looney Toons as a normal human. Who knows how awesome he would have been as a monstar!

Halloween Art Show Time!!!!

One of my favorite movies is Nacho Libre.  I have always wanted to do character designs for all the funny characters in the movie.  Here is my first run at Nacho!  I want to give him his alternate costumes next.

Kitty Avengers Assemble

A lot of my students at LA's Best love Hello Kitty.  I decided to create this illustration of the Avengers in the style of Hello Kitty.  I made it as a print and gave it to my students on my last day of work.  I plan on adding Hawkeye and Black Widow to the group soon. 

The Lost Man

Sketched Wolverine recently.  I wanted to draw him looking more like an a beast or animal living in the wild.  Always one of my favorite superheroes.  

Sahab - Scarecrow

One of the most talented people I know is my friend, Sahab.  His album, "Scarecrow," is one of my favorites to listen to while I draw.  This is a illustration of Sahab I drew awhile back.  I decided to color it and throw a sketch of his cat in there with him.  You can check out Sahab's album on itunes.
